The Uruguayan feels he is settling in nicely, improving as a player, and growing in confidence.Lucas Torreira says he’s still settling in at Arsenal and “getting to grips” with Unai Emery’s training regime in north London.The midfielder hasn’t started a game for the Gunners yet since his £22million move from Sampdoria, but he isn’t getting disheartened. Instead, the Uruguayan feels he is settling in nicely, improving as a player, and growing in confidence.Many expected Torreira to be a regular starter for Arsenal in Emery’s first season in charge, but it is the Gunners’ other summer purchase, Matteo Guendouzi, who is getting game time ahead of him so far this season.
Torreira is currently biding his time, and feels the win against West Ham will finally kick-start his and Arsenal’s season.

“I’m really happy,” he told Arsenal’s official website. “It’s all very new for me because I’ve come from a different type of league.”The climate is different here and the way of life too, but I’m settling in nicely and training hard – the sessions are different too.
